This was our second time staying at this hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very friendly, and our room was nice. We will come back here again.

As you walked in it smelled horribly of cigarette smoke BUT it was only because someone was sitting outside in front of door smoking. Not hotels fault but it had me wondering at first if this was going to be okay to stay. desk person was very nice and helpful. Room was quiet. The sheets smelled clean and the room was clean. Older property but no major complaints.

When we first arrived in our room, the heat was turned off and it took 4 hours for the room to warm up to 72 degrees! We had to wear our street clothes and jackets to bed to stay warm. The smoke alarm in the room was covered with a plastic bag. The mattress was lumpy and had springs in it that you could feel. The sheets and pillowcases were well worn and had some holes. We stayed on New Years Eve and the motel was very quiet with not very many occupants. If the bedding had been nicer, and the heat had been on, we would have felt much better about our stay. The room was very clean, as well as the rest of the property.

No security or Front Desk help!

The room was clean and comfortable but there was NO ONE EVER at the front desk and there was no phone in the room to call the front desk for help with any issues. As for the complementary breakfast, we were offered snack sized bags of cookies. And the biggest issue was the lack of security! they never asked for ID when checking in OR to get a room key made. So anyone could ask for a room number and get into anyoneā€™s room! VERY DANGEROUS and unsettling!

My stay

My room was going to be upstairs but was moved to the first floor with a king size bed and jacuzzi tub. Overall the room wasn't too bad there was some plaster being held up by some decorative push pins and a big crack down a section of the ceiling in the middle. The bed was very thin the mattress was very thin and hard did not like that at all did not sleep well because of that. Otherwise it was clean I didn't use the jacuzzi tub but it otherwise looked fine.

My significant other and I booked a one night stay at this hotel as a halfway point on our trip home the Spooner area. I was really looking forward to our stay in the hotel as I booked a king room with a jetted tub. We had been staying in a cabin riding trails on our Can Am, so the jetted tub sounded like a great way to relax. At check in I was informed that my room was not available. I asked if I could please have something similar to what I booked. She said yes that is what she is looking for. When I entered our room with were given a standard room with two queen beds. NOTHING close to what I had booked. The beds had no pillowcases and when I pulled the sheets back the bed was a wrinkled mess. I use Expedia to book all my trips. I was extremely disappointment with this room, the condition of the room as well as how I was treated. The following weekend I had to book another hotel stay and was very hesitant to book through Expedia again as I was terrified that I would be placed in a different room once again.

Bed was comfortable. Fist-sized hole through bathroom door (I was made aware of this before accepting the room). I crashed through the desk chair the first time I sat down on it (it was replaced with a nice chair in an expedient manner). The main light above the vanity did not work at all. The room and bathroom were very clean. My interaction with various staff members was very pleasant.

The side door would not lock, Iā€™m guess why there were so many cameras around. The website also said there would be continental breakfast and there was not. Overall it was an okay stay for one night.
