"The rental was good value and straightforward. The apartment was very good inside but too a bit far and too high-up from the beach front for us. La Herradura is a very quiet, very friendly place - but like many Spain resorts is now somewhat in need of renovation and rejuvenation."

"A lovely quaint hotel in great location on the seafront with good proximity to bars and restaurants and an impressive viewing area! A lot of restaurants closed for the Easter celebrations! Rooms newly refurbished, comfortable and clean! Staff really helpful and friendly especially the guy on reception! Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but ate in the restaurant for dinner with plenty choice for all budgets! Worth paying the extra for a Seaview room with balcony, especially when able to...

"Hotel is clean and the facilities are of a high standard. Parking on-site is 7€ / night and is limited so if you are staying during a busy time you may have issues. We got a room upgrade as the hotel had not taken our booking from Hotels.com. This was a nice gesture. The beach is mostly gravel and stone / pebbles and is across a road and promenade from the hotel. The sea is actually about 400 to 500 meters from the hotel.Hotel has a nice outdoor swimming pool and indoor jacuzzi."

"Cleanliness of rooms very good, staff very helpful. Only negative was the restaurant which was very noisy/echoey and there was no private lounge area."

"Overall, a fantastic stay for a great price. The location is spot on for walking to the local restaurants. Everything is available on site including a launderette and a fantastic new gym. My only negative is there is very little sound proofing in the rooms so you hear everything going on in all of the neighbouring apartments. I would stay again but take ear plugs!!"
