"The biggest complaint we had was the noise from the air conditioner and the arrangement of the room. The air conditioner was only about two feet from the head of the bed, and when it kicked on, it blew smelly air directly into my face. And the worst part was, when it was running, it was about as noisy as a lawn mower starting up two feet from your head. By the time we left, I was exhausted from a week's worth of rotten sleep. The room was acceptably clean. We stayed 8 days, our bedding was never changed. I usually made our bed, but the one day I did not, the maid barely pulled the covers up over the bed. Our used towels were taken off the rack, and no clean towels were put up to replace them. I had to go to the desk to ask for clean towels twice. The staff was not overly cordial or helpful. The breakfast bar was passable. However the water in Greenville tastes like it comes out of a fish tank, and you could even taste it in the orange juice from the dispenser. To top off a so-so stay, we extended our stay one additional night; the first seven nights we were charged $179.83 per night. The last night we added on to our stay, we were charged $202.27. Go figure... Not staying there again."

"The room was not very clean. The chair in the room was covered with brown stains, carpet also had stains. The walls near the bed were speckled with some sort of splatter. There were hairs in the bathroom on the bathtub and sink. The tank to the toilet was cracked and clearly glued back together. Overall the whole room smelt like mildew. Front desk was nice and personable when checking in."

"There is no lobby. It's kept closed off from guests, but the desk person can see & be seen sitting behind the counter looking at you through the door & windows. There's a tiny night window through which he conducts his day & night time guest interactions. Extremely unwelcoming. The room was clean enough altho there was a dead waterbug in the bathroom. Dead's good, right? There were 3 wall lamps, but the bulbs were removed from 2 of them... There was a nightstand on one side of the bed with 2 of the 3 lamps above it, but no table or light on the other side, which was only a foot or so from the wall. Amenities? A drained pool with nasty green water standing in it and a laundry room seemed to be the amenities. The property was quiet and the staff pleasant, but we definitely won't stay here again."

"Everything was excellent, except for some limit on breakfast selection, and the person who was supposed to be replenishing was not being attentive. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, air conditioned, and a nice fresh smell to the property. The dining area was really comfortable and pretty. There was an extra bathroom on the first floor for gas that was always clean. Front desk and housekeeping staff were wonderful. The pool area was very clean and the pool water was nice and clear but water was a little too cold. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area."

"OH MY!! first thing the smell of weed and just broke down all the way around! Walk in the room and boom not 1 but 2 big bugs crawling around the carpet, next to all the cigarettes ashes and the bed that looked so sloppy, like someone jumped on it then just threw the blanket on the bed. I walked in took pictures and walked out. I was denied a refund by the trap house keeper and indeed!!"
