2. Sage Lake Huron Cottage

「Outdoor area was kept up nice! Liked the fact that there was wood provided for a fire! Had to purchase fire starter. Grill was charcoal fueled. Cabin has a cool vibe! Very clean! Furniture is comfortable. The heat didn’t flow well into bedrooms and bath. Light switches were confusing, signage for switches would be helpful. Amenity list could be updated (Keurig and coffee maker both available). It would be nice if some games were provided as well as scissors and lighter for fire/charcoal....

5. Charming Lake Huron Cottage Private Beach Access

Oscoda

「Host always responded to messages although we couldn't always fix the issue. Interior was clean but could use some maintenance, wobbly furniture, chipping paint, loose trim. Quaint and simple-everything is mismatch- no two forks or spoons or cups were the same. There were games in the closet and plenty of towels and pillows. Would have been nice to have some basic cleaning rags and spray. Plenty of outdoor seating and beach toys, but also cans and spent firework trash was on the property.」

9. Stunning views of Lake Huron

Oscoda

「Unfortunately we would not return to this house. We loved the proximity to beach and the lake view from the upstairs bedroom, and appreciated the upstairs AC unit. That was about all we were able to enjoy… the place was very dirty, dishes weren’t clean, throw blankets were not washed and had awful smells. Shower was small with no soap, shampoo, etc. There were SO many bugs both outside and inside, which I’m sure is just a seasonal May thing and not the property owner’s fault. However, there were...

「This is our second year at this beach cottage -- last year all family members (young kids {10 in age],teens, adults) had such a great time we decided to book it again. For our family group, the most outstanding features are the beautiful sandy beach with a gentle slope, and the game tables in the garage which feature air hockey, table tennis, and foosball. The cottage was clean and inviting and conveniently located near Oscoda and just a short drive to Tawas. We also enjoyed being close to...
