"Out of all 4 hotels I stayed in during my east coast trip, Sandman was by far the cleanest, most beautiful, and well kept hotel. The staff were incredible! They even interacted with my dog Storm and gave her treats. They were super nice, and accommodating "

"The advertised pictures must be photoshopped because the rooms don’t look nice and modern like that at all, instead old, outdated and in need of renovation and repairs. It’s advertised to have 24h staff to check-in but when we called to say we will check in late evening we were told it’s not possible because nobody will be there. When asked for solution was told to arrive before a certain time, which was of course not possible for us. Were then told our booking was anyway missing information and we have no guarantee for the room we booked. Eventually we were told someone will be there but it didn’t give a great feeling and worried us to maybe needing to find a different place last minute. Stayed twice at the motel and both rooms looked much more basic, outdated and could use a renovation. Our second visit the room smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. Our throat hurt from it. Asked for another room but it also smelled bad. Not all electric outlets worked. Walls could use cleaning and a fresh paint. There was a scary guy yelling all night in the parking lot of the motel and a car beeping. Hard to sleep. Overall we will certainly try to avoid staying there again. One positive: it was cleaned well in all areas and very cheap."

"For a couples romantic breakaway, you couldn’t ask for a better place which is quiet, secluded and the total lap of luxury with every detail thought of and available for you. The view is amazing overlooking the lake and the surrounds of forest, which are totally quiet with no interruptions. One needs to be able to stay for at least two nights to really wind down and relax in total luxury. Will definitely return and stay longer "

"The downstairs was quite tidy and unique. The host was considerate and quick to reply. I wish there had been a sign on which door was the one to access the place, and I also wish the price for the sauna was included in the ad. The bathroom is nice. The beds are incredibly comfortable."

"We didnt go to a National Park, not aware there was one. No soap or body wash for shower and shower curtain could be changed or cleaned. Very quiet and overall a great place."

"Our stay was very disappointing. The property was not clean or well maintained. The most disappointing part was we were met with distain and an immediate wall of defensiveness from the property owner. Carla & my wife exchanged in heated debate and discussion, and was to the point where she accused us of sabotaging our time at her property. This is a disgrace to the spirit of hospitality that this province is built upon. Both my wife and I are deeply involved and connected to the industry and enjoy experiencing new places to share with others. We are used to everything from backpacking in the Yukon and NWT to staying fully serviced properties. The property itself was a great location for what we were needing, however the way we were treated was absolutely disgusting and degrading by Carla. This was the worst experience I have ever experienced with booking on any vacation home platform. As mentioned we have leveraged these services from coast to coast and have only received positive reviews from our hosts. I would highly recommend removing this service provider from your platform. "
