"We really enjoyed our stay [with our dogs] at Maeburn cottages. Dorothy was a great host and very attentive to our needs. The cottage was warm and cosy and the bed comfortable. One thing to note is that our cottage had a fridge but no freezer component, so if you need ice you will need to get it at the general store. Metung is a lovely place to stay and the cottage is located relatively close to the village [a nice walk along the lake for about 15 to 20 minutes or a less than 5 minute drive. We highly recommend Maeburn cottages."

"This spotless apartment was fabulous and great value. Warm welcome by staff, we parked right at the door of our unit. Well equipped and comfortable with super outdoor area overlooking the water. The room was spacious and well equipped. Very comfortable bedding and linen was clean and smelled so fresh. Kitchen well equipped with all our needs and more. Huge ensuite, with super hot shower with great water pressure. Ideally located, we strolled to the ferry and local pub. Highly recommended. "
