「Great location to catch the ferry」

「ホテルの数がそもそも少ないエリアですので、選択の余地がない部分もあることを考えると、申し分ないと思います。ホテルは新しくはないですが、十分に手入れされていて、掃除も綺麗に行われていると思います。バスアメニティや朝食の内容など、若干、値段と見合わないと感じました。朝食は、典型的な英国の朝食ではありますが、塩味が強くて、もう少し野菜が多くあってもよいと思い巻いた。」

「This is a friendly place with clean pleasant rooms and a nice breakfast. However, it isn’t really a hotel, more a pub offering bed and breakfast. When I booked it advertised a restaurant, but this had closed down by the time we arrived, and we had to book dinner in a sister hotel nearby. Not a big issue, but as there are only two restaurants in town you have to book early. We found here that like many places in Orkney there seems to be a serious staff shortage. The accommodation was very comfortable and in a convenient location for getting around the island (and travelling to others), while being nice and quiet as well. It's a shame that the restaurant is currently out of action but there are plenty of options in quite easy driving distance (although we would advise booking ahead, as a lot of them were quite sought-after). Felt it could benefit from a 2nd toilet/bathroom. the rooms were very spacious. more wardrobe /hanging space would be good in twin rooms.
