I had booked 1 night in the "Two rooms, one queen bed in each room" and found we were upgraded at no extra cost to the "Two Room Suite, 1 Queen bed in each room, Sleeper Sofa, Kitchen"!
Check-in was fast, and the lady at the desk was so friendly and helpful. She gave me a map of town and a couple coupons for Dogpatch and she marked what street the restaurants were on, on the map for me.
The suite itself is older with some wear and tear but not in any way that...
「This was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in on a road trip! Very nice staff, family run with care. Our room was standard size but the furnishings were new and everything worked. There’s a surprisingly large breakfast included, which we only ate once but was just fine to start the day. It’s not deluxe, but it’s a good base for activities in the UP. 」
「We had a great stay! The kids loved the slide. They were a little disappointed that it wasnt on all the time, but still enjoyed the pool too. The pillows were a little flat, but the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good for everyone!」
