「Visiting in September allowed us to see the colors begin to change! The Sonnenalp staff goes above & beyond to meet your needs! We had never been the Vail and did have questions about directions, locations, transportation, etc! The concierge was amazing in not only providing guidance but also making arrangements to make our stay so much more enjoyable! We hiked, rode the gondola, shopped, ate at so many of the area restaurants so easily accessible by walking, visited Ford Park, went horseback...
「The lodge exceeded my expectations! For an off season visit in September, it was quiet , comfortable, the rooms are cozy and welcoming, well stocked with everything you need. The views are amazing and the location is short walk to town . They offer free shuttle to the town just steps away from the hotel . The breakfast was just enough . The staff is extremely helpful and polite, and knowledgeable of the area . Would definitely be coming back ! 」

「Great boutique hotel which we always enjoy. Parking fees in Vail have become absurdly high. This is becoming difficult to justify. Vail has always been expensive, but this sudden increase in parking fees show contempt for its customers.」
「Lovely condo with a view to the woods. Spacious for 4 adults. Beds were super comfy and the floor plan was great, with the living area separating the 2 bedrooms. We took advantage of the in-unit washer and dryer. It was a hot weekend so we were very thankful for the A/C. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the condition of the shower door, which really needs replacing and some caulking. Overall we really liked the location which made for a quieter stay. We’ll go back...
