「It sounds trite but this is truly a gem of a hotel. Beautiful location, quiet, lovely gardens, very comfortable room and first class service throughout the hotel, from welcome at reception to saying goodbye. Restaurant (Artisan Room) was very good, the staff here so very helpful and lovely with it. Food is fresh, local and well prepared and served. Could not fault it. Good wine list too. It's a beautiful old house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.」

「The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Devil's Bridge and the surrounding area. We visited the Elan Valley dams and reservoirs, the Silver Mountain and Aberystwyth. The Hotel looks stunning from the outside and inside. A lot of care has gone into every detail of the hotel. Our room was on the top floor. It was very cool and quirky, just a little bit musty smelling. (We couldn't open the windows without a load of bugs flying in so had to keep them closed unfortunately.) The bathroom...
