  • The best hike if you like waterfalls, to be precise there are 22 of them. To see them all you will have to hike for about 7 miles. Dog friendly. I highly recommend you won't regret it! The hike is not very difficult, with accessional hikes up and down, but it is long considering that you will stop to admire and take pictures at most of the waterfalls. Bring lunch, snack and water if you planning to see all 22 waterfalls.

Dead mice in closet and I have videos of squirrels in traps and squirrels inside the house running down the steps I opened the door and it went out. The other one was caught in a mouse trap. They are flying squirrels of all things if you want to see the video let me know. She complained and wanted a cleaning fee she’s nuts the place was cleaner when I left and I took pictures

2nd year back and we will be back again!! Everything you need is here for a perfect country get away! Check in and out is simple! Karen is an A host, the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils. We love relaxing on the deck listening to the pond come alive, plenty of Sunny’s to catch in the pond. At night the stars are bright and you can hear the frogs and owls. Our dogs loved the creek in the back it’s perfect for your dog or kids to get wet and cool off! State parks are close by where you can fish hike swim, it really is the perfect getaway!

It was great seen lots of animals, deer, squirrels, turkey buzzards, crane, did a lot of fishing, sunny, and brass. Saw the turtles, frogs, dragon fly. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. The Perfect Get Away

The home and the property are just lovely! We very much enjoyed the deck, the fire pit and fishing in the pond. My dog especially enjoyed playing in the creek! The house was clean and comfortable with nice decor. Close to World's End for hiking trails. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Stellar outdoor space!

It was the outdoor space that blew us away at this property; nice decking, good access, fire pit and nice outdoor seating. A mountain stream and a small lake steps from the door.We love to cook in and for that we had everything we needed. Also plenty of towels, washer/dryer, and instant hot water. Beds comfortable. Bottled water provided for drinking. Overall the cabin had Rustic appeal. The owner was readily responsive. Great location for Ricketts Glen and Worlds End state parks which was what brought us to the area. The property was a bonus.

Great getaway!

This is the third time I have stayed here, and it never disappoints! Clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and peaceful. If we are ever to come back to the area, we would definitely stay here again. While we did not do it this time, for anyone interested in hiking, Rickets Glen is fairly close. One of our favorite hikes! I would rate it moderate, as there are a lot of stairs, etc, but it is really beautiful, with over 20 waterfalls! Our host, Karen, was great to deal with, and very helpful and attentive. We left some thing behind by mistake, and she was nice enough to mail it back to us. Thank you Karen!

Weekend in Dushore

This stay is very nice. The house is lovely, very comfortable and well equipped. The property is very pretty, not far from town, but still rural, so it's quiet and peaceful. The pond has some great fish, we had a wonderful time fishing.
