Spotless hotel the lobby the rooms all of it. The staff is outstanding. Hector at the front desk is a very nice man. Patrick,(the dog) too was here to greet us. We stayed here in January of 25. So knew of the hotel. It is a beautiful old, well kept hotel in the Heart of Centro Durango! Highly recommend.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was spotless and smelled wonderful throughout. I especially loved all the beautiful plants — they made the place feel so welcoming and relaxing.

Excellent place to stay with dogs.

I use this hotel every time i come to Durango. The staff is always friendly and its supper pet friendly. The guest are always supper friendly too!

Courteous and Kind staff

The front desk staff, Maricruz, & Héctor were so helpful and polite. They helped me with good restaurants and places to visit. Also very courteous and kind.

You have to visit this vintage hotel in the middle of everything we walked everywhere because everything was so close. Staff was really friendly and they evwn have a hotel mascot named Patrick. I give it more stata if it was possible.

Great hotel stay close to just about everything in the historic center! There is also a very friendly resident puppy that greets you every time you show up. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend Hotel Posada San Agustin!

Great Stay at Hotel Posada San Agustin

The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Patrick who kept the lobby secure and always was happy to greet us. The hotel is very well situated for walking to the entire Centro area. Beds were a bit firm for our taste but otherwise everything was wonderful.

We had a comfortable stay, posada is a charming, colonial hotel in an excellent location. Front desk Hector was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. He made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back at this hotel.

The historic building is lovely. The room was clean, the bed comforts able and nice quality sheets. We were woken each morning ay7 by church bells which was actually a lovely way to wake up.

Fantastic hotel in a charming colonial mansion! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Beds were on the firm side, but rooms are very well air conditioned for comfort. The hotel itself is on the western side of "Zona Central" and there are a lot of different restaurants, convenience stores and places of interest within walking distance. I do caution against staying here if you don't like noise, as there is a cathedral next door that rings it's bells every morning starting around 0700. There is also a hotel dog, Patrick, who is very friendly and loves pets!

This is my favorite place to stay now when I go. It's not fancy because it's colonial, unique, and nostalgic of the olden times. Staff is genuine, friendly and remember you from year to year. This place feels like home as it has several places to hang outside of your room - dining too! Best place to stay centrally too as it's close to everything within walking distance, and it's a great spot to meet locals too to do anything touristy too. Hector, Mari Cruz & Carolina are the best!! The hotel dog Patrick is an extra homey feel to the place. Love Posada San Agustin! Fun fact - it used to be a hospital in the past, and many of us were born there! The history of this building is just fascinating, and you can't get that from any Americanized hotel chain. The only minus is there is no restaurant, but Casablanca (their sister hotel) is closeby and they even do room service from them.

Amazing Hospitality! Such a beautiful colonial building. The rooms are very simple and old, BUT after the initial impression we made it our own. I always travel with my own pillow. If I had forgotten it, I would have been fine. Great pillows and mattress! The shower was very quick to heat up and get us on our way. Ana Luisa and all of her staff were warm, accommodating, knowledgeable and so happy to help. You can walk either direction from the entrance to get to all of the highlights of the city. We can’t wait to return! Thank you! ❤️

This is a beautiful property in a very good location. The greeter looked through his Expedia receipts and told me very definitely that we didn't have a reservation. I had to get out my email confirmation and show it to someone else to get a room. That was not a great welcome. Then the same man tried to give us a room on the street--which is very noisy. He quickly changed that upon request but why? Then they only give one key for the room. Then the wi-fi doesn't work in the room. They have some things to work on.

A historic structure upgraded just enough with modern touches for comfort yet retaining it's old world charm and character. Comfortable common area where you can view many antique artifacts while enjoying coffee anytime of the day. A quiet outdoor patio cleverly hidden at rear with unmarked access via rear common area, easily unnoticed. Not only is it pet friendly, pets may wander freely enjoying the playful company of the resident pet, Patrick.Comfortable beds. Easily accessible showers, though I would suggest bath stools be provided for those with mobility issues. Very little English spoken by staff, however that did not hamper good service. Room service meals provided, however I wouldn't reccomend it as the meals are delivered from restaurant adjacent to hotel and the breakfast we ordered was rather cold. Convenient location in Zona Centro. Taxi transportation readily available and very affordable. Only a few blocks to shopping and square. Sidewalks are in fair condition however neither wheelchair or mobility scooter friendly with many obstructions and poorly constructed wheelchair ramps. I highly recommend this quiant hotel.
