「The house was clean and cozy, and stocked with essentials (dish soap, hand soap, tp, etc). The location was perfectly located for days of hiking, and within walking distance to a local natural foods store and downtown mount shasta. We slept great too. This was a very easy place to stay.」

「This is a wonderful place to stay. Spacious, quiet, well located; this house has everything you’d need for a McCloud getaway. Well appointed kitchen, great bathroom, comfortable spots all throughout the house to tuck yourself away and fixate on the great forest views. I loved the big porch in the front with its comfortable outdoor furniture. Also, right in the front, if you stand in the no traffic road, there’s Mt Shasta grinning down at you. A magical place to stay.」

「The house has an old time cabin feeling with log walls and wooden cabinets. It is a large property located very near to downtown, amid several rows of low-rise condo developments and a hospital. It is very near Highway 5; you can see and hear the highway from the back deck and hot tub. 3 bedrooms upstairs with one hall bath and a bedroom with en suite bath downstairs as well as a 3rd bath next to the living room. 2 car garage. Hot tub.」

「The house was comfortable and we enjoyed the video game table and the wide variety of interesting books and music. I wouldn't call the waterbed waveless (we've had 2 waterbeds), and we found this one a bit sloshy. Used the wood stove heater for 2 days but I'm sensitive to smoke so we used the electric heater for the last 2 days. The town of Dunsmuir didn't offer much in the way of food or entertainment. Most of the restaurants we had researched prior to our visit were no longer open for...

「Everything was clean and nice about the property! Nothing bad about the host or anything! However, I personally felt that the bed was extremely uncomfortable, I ended up sleeping on the couch instead. It’s a VERY firm mattress, and I understand that many enjoy that but for me I was in tons of pain trying to sleep on it. This is a personal preference so I’m still rating highly because it was nice otherwise. Just a heads up to others who may prefer a softer bed like me. Loved the bathtub and cute...
