"Excellent, very clean"

"This was a last minute stay due just one evening to break up our drive from NC beach. Decided to take the waters at Jefferson Baths, and this inn right across the street. Unfortunately, the much-lauded restaurant is closed Mon& Tues. But had an amazing buffet breakfast the next day with hot and cold dishes from scratch! Only ding is that our room smelled a bit musty when entering. Not horrible but could probably use some neutral deodorizer. The bed was the best we've every slept in!! And we've traveled extensively. Comfortable mattress, crisp & full pillows. "

"We stayed at the Patton Cabin and it was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. Caley is a wonderful host—thoughtful and welcoming. The cabin was perfect in every way, from the cozy swing outside to the heart-shaped jacuzzi tub inside. Peaceful, serene, and just what we were hoping for. We’ve already booked our next stay for November!"

"We booked for a sibling birthday retreat- traveling from Texas, NC and Va. The house was quaint, comfortable ( chairs on porch not so much- would have liked rocking chairs as advertised as the weather was perfect for spending time there). A few electrical glitches typical for older homes-plugs in guesthouse were wonky and couldn’t seem to get enough light. The plantings and yard were great sitting on the rocks by the stream watching hummingbirds feed was particularly restful. I’d certainly spend time there again. "

"Had a great and relaxing time in their quaint little cabin with all the amenities you need and wonderful hiking trails around the cabin we ventured out on a few times! We saw a black bear, several deer, a coyote, and hummingbirds! Great place to have downtime and enjoy Gods creation!"

"Great house with an amazing view to wake up to every morning. Host was very responsive to questions. Very close to the village. We were here in the summer, but lots of nearby lifts. Nice place to stay!"
