"Fantastic situation which suited us and our 2 dogs perfectly. You need to be organised with food due to the nearest shop being over 30 miles away but that being said we found some fantastic eateries on our road trips around the area. The negatives are that the ceiling are very low the stairs awkward and narrow and the condition is basic. Take chairs with you so that you can enjoy the sun trap garden. Luckily we had really good weather (last week in Apri)"

Self-catering was very easy with the well-stocked store nearby, as well as larger options not far away in Gairloch. And the area is beautiful - lots to see and amazing views across sea, lochs and mountains. Really excellent. "

"It was a last minute booking for us to escape storm Floris and we're so pleased we found this place. Wonderful views from the room and fantastic food. We had haggis to start (which wasn't on the menu but they did it for us anyway) and Sea Bass and Lamb Shank which were both excellent. "
