"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "Aunque es verdad que alquilamos el piso con solo 24 horas de antelación fuimos incapaces de contactar con la hospedadora hasta pocas horas antes de la entrada, quien nos canceló la reserva cuando ya estábamos de camino debido a un error en el funcionamiento del calendario de vrbo, ya que la casa ya estaba ocupada en esas fechas."

"Both bedrooms smelled very bad because of the bathroom pipes. We felt we slept in a sewer. Terrible night sleep because windows had to be opened and there were a lot of mosquitoes coming in the room. We woke up with multiple mosquito bites. Also, when booking it did not state an additional charge for a late check, but we were told that there would be a late check charge after 9pm. "
