"Really beautiful place- very well equipped in Kitchen, great games and water activities, although description of bringing a boat and where to dock was not very well communicated. Would have liked more information on where to shop for groceries ahead of time. "
"We loved staying here! We were traveling with eight adults and two children (almost 2 and 4) and it was a great spot for the adults and kids alike. The house was clean and had plenty of space. It is shaped like a U with a breezeway in the middle and we kept the family with kids on one side for easier bedtime and naps, away from the kitchen if people were using it during those times. It was nice to be able to have a quiet side of the house that had actual doors to eliminate the noise. There are skylights in a lot of the rooms but a couple without to be able to use for naps during the day. It was also great to not have stairs inside to worry about. The beach area was great. We used some of the kayaks, a paddle boat, and the canoe from the owner and brought some of our own items that could be tied to the dock if needed. We also fished off the dock and there were plenty of spots away from the immediate swimming area to throw a line in. The linens and towels was very comfortable to use and the kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes. We liked getting Vito’s pizza and boating to the Lake Anna Taphouse for lunch and beer. Great spot and we will be back! "

"The inside of the property is fairly nice and defintley adequate for a nice getaway. However, the outside of the home needs some work. It's not falling apart, but could use cleaning, painting and a few touchups/repairs in some areas. The decks are dirty and could easily be cleaned. The house's hardie siding is faded and dirty and needs painting. The gutters need cleaning and painting and areas of the roof need to be cleaned off. I noticed these areas because I am a contractor. The areas did not detract from our stay, but thought I would mention them. Also, I am willing to provide a quote for all of the areas mentioned and willing to do the work on trade if the owner is interested. Thanks, Chris Ginn. 804-677-4681"

"The property was exactly as described. It was a quiet neighborhood, beautiful view of the lake with a sloping yard. The house had everything we needed. It was the perfect size for the two of us. The host thought of everything! Would absolutely stay again!"
