Excellent hotel and beautiful view. Book a room with a balcony, it’s worth it.

The staff were very helpful with early check-ins, holding bags, ordering taxis and general questions. Property very pretty. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. Great place to stay!

The hotel was rated as a 5 star however we feel it was more 4 star reasons being, black out curtains in our room had worn patches so could see through, toilet lid had 2 cracks in (reported on our first day but was not replaced while we were there), coffee stains on carpet, damage to skirting board and ceiling coving. We booked half board- the quality of the food was very good, breakfast was very good with a good selection. Evening meals- quality again was good however at the beginning of week the selection was limited compared to other 5 star hotels however as the week went on the chef started cooking outside which was great. All staff were great and very helpful. We would stay again however rooms need upgrading for 5 star.

Great location outside the old city- easy walk or bus. Outside the restricted driving zone and has parking. Beatitiful views from rooms and breakfast/dining area - out to the water
