Ok place, needs some (a lot of) love

We stayed here for a few nights, the place is easy to find just across the ferry docks (20min walk). This place has everything to be a cool, and well located site. Personally, the apartment felt way too basic, and poorly maintained. The furniture looks from the 70s, and the dishes and cutlery were basic and unmatched. I would probably not stay here again unless the units receive and updated makeover

Orka apartments are just great! We had an amazing time there, close to bus stops for old town and other areas. Also, amazing eateries on the doorstep. Skar winery is 2 doors down and just the best for wine, service and best cheeseboards in Dubrovnik! Orka has a beautiful pool that our 8 year old daughter loved, as did we. Tranquil and pristine. The apartments offered us everything we needed and more and we could not have been happier there. Anamarija was an excellent host and very helpful, thank you. About 15 mins on number 6 bus to old town and either 3 min walk for small shop or 10 min walk to larger supermarket Tommy's. Perfect.

We have just finished our stay at Orka Apartments and felt so compelled to write a review to let everyone know about this little gem of a property. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely lady (I forgot her name but know she is not the usual host) who allowed us to check in early and showed us around. We stayed in Apartment 5 which is located across from the marina at the front of the property. A lovely apartment with everything you might need and more! A few steps and you are at the pool area. The pool was a big highlight of this property. The surrounding garden areas were also so lovely and you are encouraged to enjoy them. The property is easy to access from the Gruz bus station. We took an Uber as we had luggage however is very walkable if you don’t have many bags. Beautiful views of the marina were amazing as we love to yacht and boat spot. The street can be noisy but we expected this and never disturbed us. Lovely restaurants surrounded the property and easy access to Dubrovnik old town by bus, taxi/uber or on a cooler day, walking. Will definitely be coming back here the next time we are in Dubrovnik.

Absolutely 10/10 place to stay. Wouldnt go anywhere else in Dubrovnik now! Has a pool and so central to the bus station/port etc. Anamarija was very helpful and kind to point us in the right direction. We had the best time ever. It felt like home away from home.

Great Stay

Had a great stay at Orka Apartments. Apartment was basic but had everythimg we needed. Pool was absolutely lovely and hardly anyone about so like having your own pool. Area was nice and easy walk to bars and restaurants and beach and 10 minute bus ride into Old Town Dubrovnik from bus stop at top of the road we were staying. Very nice welcome by friendly host but then left to our own devices which we loved. Absolutely lovely city and we had a fantastic holiday. Also went on a diving day trip and the boat we caught was in the marina by the apartment so really handy aswell.

A lovely facility. However, The bed was so tight fitted, it had about a foot between the bed and walls making it difficult to get in and out of bed. The pool area was beautiful, but unheated making it way to cold to use. A heater would make the facility more attractive. The host was very friendly and there was a very nice restaurant onsite with options a short walk away. Unfortunately there was big construction going on and noise started early. There is improvements that will take a year I’d guess. The apartment sits right on a marina street and people walk by talking till late. Bus service was a 10 min walk.
