"This is a lovely house with beautiful views and tastefully decorated. We were two couples and the house was a comfortable size with two larger bedrooms with en suite baths. Make sure to get groceries at Jelsa on the way in, and note that on Sundays most grocery stores even in Jelsa are closed. The house is located above a quiet village, away from most tourist activities, which for us was perfect! There are pretty beaches and great wine tasting opportunities nearby. Jelsa is a charming, larger town just 25 minutes away, with Hvar town about 50 minutes away. We loved our stay here and appreciated the beauty and seclusion of the house! "

"The house is beautiful and is located in a very secluded town (which we liked). The owners were kind and courteous, checking in with us to ensure everything was ok. A few things to note, the property is divided into 2 units, with one bedroom accessible via steep stairs inside the main unit where the kitchen is located. The other bedroom is accessible just to the right as you exit the main unit. This is important if you have accessibility needs or are traveling with young children. There isn't really a common area to hang out except for the pool area. We made it work with pulling a few chairs around outside our unit. The pool and surrounding area was great, outfitted with a grill, sink and ice dispenser. We explored the town and walked to the top of the hill via a trail and found a restaurant (Alavia) with amazing views of the sea and Stari Gard. The restaurant in town was also amazing! If you appreciate history and quiet this place is for you. Hvar is only a 15-20 minute drive with great restaurants and beaches."
