2BR 2BA Condo Minutes to DT Mystic!

"Our stay at this VRBO was wonderful! The condo was spotless when we arrived and was very well maintained. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made it easy to relax after long days out.The host was fantastic throughout our stay. Communication was always prompt, friendly, and helpful. We did encounter an unexpected issue when the elevator was out of service for several days. Under most circumstances it wouldn't have been a major problem, but three of the four people in our group have knee and hip issues, so using the stairs multiple times a day was challenging. The host was understanding, responsive, and worked with us to make the situation right, which we truly appreciated.Despite the temporary elevator issue, we had a great experience and were impressed by how much the host cared about making sure we enjoyed our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place with an attentive and caring host."

"This was a very comfortable, quiet rental with plenty of amenities. We are a family of two parents and one 13 child and the bedroom-living room connection worked for us. The sofa bed would be uncomfortable for an adult, but was fine for our child. All sheets and towels were very clean. The whole place was very cozy and comfortable. The town of Stonington is lovely. We enjoyed our stay very much."

Historic Home for 7: Walk to Beach, Pets & Family

"This unit is a nice space for a getaway in the Stonington/Mystic area. It is walkable to Stonington borough, but is a bit of a walk through a park and over a bridge. The unit is in a house that has another unit attached to it. The unit was clean and the space was nicely updated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that would be needed to cook meals if desired. There was coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, spices provided. The laundry room is in the basement and there is no laundry basket so plan accordingly if you desire to do laundry while you are there. There was laundry detergent and fabric softener provided which was convenient. There was a highchair in the unit, but no children's books that were advertised. Overall, I would recommend the unit for a stay in the area, but the description of the property is a little misleading as I outlined in the review."

"By far and away the best VRBO experience ever. The place is truly brand new and soooo thoughtfully appointed. Everything is new, including board games, towels, bedding, all appliances (dishwasher, washer and dryer...), etc. it was the cleanest place I've ever stayed. Kitchen had plastic disposable containers for beach, foil, ziplocks, etc. Nice shampoo and conditioner and soaps in each bathroom, plenty of soft towels. A million nice touches like lights on stairs going up, good signage, 3 TVs (one in each bedroom, one in living area). Our host saw we arrived a few hours early and let us in. He said we could have just let him know our arrival time and he would have gladly had the code set for then. Then we asked for a really late check out (4:00 pm!) so we could enjoy another Long Beach day and then swing by for our reiterated foods and he went out of his way to make sure housekeeping wasn't coming that day. What a SUPERB host. Two things to note: The apartment is right by an overpass so if you are supremely sensitive to noise, you will hear that from time to time. It didn't bother us at all. It wasn't loud. The other thing is that Watch Hill is 3.7 miles as the crow flies, but a 20 minute drive. Again, not a problem for us but just to note. We will be back here any time we want to have a Watch Hill weekend. Cannot rate highly enough!"
