This is a very nice hotel off the main drag so it is a bit quieter. It was very hot when we were there and the air-conditioning was working quite well. The staff was very helpful and considerate. Breakfast was very adequate with warm as well as cold food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others who are traveling.

We stayed at the Academy Plaza to join a tour. Our one night stay was good and no complaints about the hotel at all. The neighbourhood was a very busy noisy tourist area. If you want to stay north of the Liffey, then Academy Plaza is a good choice. I strongly prefer neighbourhoods south of the Liffey, and outside the Temple Bar area.

The property is located very close to the Temple Bar district, restaurants and pubs, all within easy walking distance. The staff is very friendly, the hotel restaurant is very convenient and has great food. The bar is very nice place to have a drink or two after spending the day in Dublin. If the room was a little bit bigger, the stay would perfect.

The hotel is in a very convenient, safe, and walkable location. The room was nice, and the breakfast in the hotel was good and worth the money. There are also loads of shops and restaurants nearby. I appreciated that they let us check in early when we arrived from the airport. It was a very nice stay.
