"This property let us book a room at 7pm and although clearly on their site it states check in is available until midnight, at 9:20 we arrived to a dark abandoned house. We tried reaching the manager via what’s app and after an hour he finally answered and told us to “find another place to stay, he’s closed”. The property is non refundable so I’ve been fighting with Expedia for a refund which to this point they’ve refused to issue. Absolute disaster. I’ll be claiming a fraudulent transaction...

The owner and his wife were so gracious and welcoming — and able to get the place ready for us in short order. The apartment is very charming and a lot more spacious than it looks online. "It is a large full service property on the bay, two big pools with beach access, very large dining and breakfast room, very nice gym, it’s just an old building and not renovated so the rooms are just average, I feel like I’m on a cruise ship in the standard room, 15 minute walk to old town, but at least it’s down a pretty, scenic driveway. Very family, friendly, this big place has sold out, kids everywhere."

It was a wonderful experience, all around.
