Because we operate a raw milk herd share, no guests are permitted around the dairy barn.
This is a working farm with heavy equipment and large animals. For your safety, please limit your exploring to 900 ft of our cottage.

Perfect location for what we did, Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, Churchill Downs, and Claiborne Farm. Very clean, quiet and safe location. Amenities and Accommodations were perfect. Would def stay here again and highly recommend to anyone.

My wife and I were greeted with a special Happy Anniversary message upon arrival at the cottage. This was a very sweet personal touch to make us feel welcome! All of the comforts of home were waiting for us in a relaxing location. The cottage was a wonderful get away. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Peaceful, comfortable & adorable space. They thought of everything plus some special additions like ice cream in the freezer! Make sure you order one of the cinnamon rolls…so wonderful!

Wonderful stay

This was a beautiful , charming place to stay. It was extremely clean, and had everything and more. They supplied us with popcorn, water, ice cream, which made our kids happy. It was very inviting and relaxing. The outdoor seating area was beautiful with perfecr view of the hills. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling that way. Great Hospitality

Very hospitable folks run this sweet little home away from home. Well equipped with everything you need and some extras thrown in. We enjoyed the view with a nice little bonfire every night, the bed was very comfortable and the home is immaculate. We hope to stay here again. Kim

Awesome!!!

We stayed 4th of July weekend. We had a very peaceful and private stay. The country scenery was picturesque. The house had just enough room and was perfect for a older couple. We spent a lot of time on the porch just enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. We also got the benefit of watching fire works beyond the tree ridge. We spent the last night at a dinner cruise on the Ohio River cruising Cincinnati on one side and Kentucky on the other. The cinammon roles were delivered to our door from Shelleys 9 yr old son Oakley which were so good! A perfect 4th of July getaway.

Amazing Place!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! What a beautiful retreat to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet with the family. Wonderful views, gorgeous tiny cottage, super clean, and so many sweet calves roaming the field. Shelley, our Host was incredibly responsive and took care of everything to the tiniest of details. Oakley’s warm and gooey cinnamon rolls, that he personally hand delivered to our front door was the cherry on top! Loved everything about this place and hope to stay again in the future!

Absolutely gorgeous, one of the few where the pictures couldn't do it justice, versus being the other way around. The hosts communication was spot on, the property was clean, the views were amazing and we would go again in a heart beat!

Peace and quiet

If you like to hear crickets and birds but no road noise, you will love this place. The house is awesome, everything looks brand new, nicely decorated, very clean. The rocking chairs on the porch makes me think that Andy and Opie may be coming by. But the best part was the landscape and how peaceful it is.

So Perfect

It not very often i meet someone that has a similar mindset to mine. This host thought of everything. I loved the fact that they had padding to use for the pullout bed. We all know sofa beds are not the most comfortable and they took this into consideration. Extra blankets and pillows- awesome. The whole set up this family is running is really amazing. This rental is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful stay. The porch overlooks hills, there is a great view of the sunset, and cows are mooing in the background. The house itself is very clean and has everything you need. The host is excellent at communication and provides a list of things to do in the area and places to eat.

The house was so clean, had everything we needed and the property was so peaceful and serene. A mother deer and her fawn even came out to say "hi" as I sat on the porch in the evening.
