"This is such a gem! Cute boutique style hotel that kept is charm but has been updated in the past 5 years (i think 2021) and it is beautiful. Staff is so helpful and pointed out great stores, restaurants, and pubs. They are on the corner of the walkable shopping district (so not in the chaos but easy to go have fun) and only a 5 minute walk to a lovely little park with walking trail. Surprised how much i feel in love with this place. "

Everything is just a short stroll away, making it an ideal base for discovering the beauty of West Cork. The in-house restaurant and bar are a real highlight. The food was consistently excellent, with a menu that balances hearty Irish classics and more refined options. The bar has a warm, welcoming vibe, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Their kindness and dedication are second to none. When I asked about shoe polishing available, they discovered it wasn’t available locally and then drove to the next town to get it for me. "We stayed here for one night for a family meeting, and everything was fantastic from start to finish. The location is ideal—just a short walk from Glengarriff town—but still peaceful and scenic. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the service was excellent. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a long day. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a highlight: delicious food, generous portions, and great local ingredients. Breakfast the next morning was just as good, with plenty of choice for all ages.
