「Very convoluted way to get to the room. Extremely inconvenient stairs if you have luggage. With a slight investment they could make it more convenient by making the corridor of one level.」

「古城ホテルで素敵な雰囲気でした。部屋からは眺望はありませんでしたが、広く綺麗で快適でした。朝ごはんは1階の食堂でブッフェスタイルでした。種類も豊富にあり、サービスも素晴らしかったです。お庭もきれいに整備してあり、散歩などしてのんびりと過ごすことが出来ました。」

「Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly. Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub. Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us) Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs.」

「Comfy bed. Heating unable to be controllef by guest. Room 12 was cold during night. Came on at 8am just as going out for breakfast. Stayed in better YHA for the money」

「I grabbed a pillow from the wardrobe that was in a "clean" plastic bag, the pillow was infested with bed bugs as I got bitten on my head, neck, hands and arms. My wife, who was next to me, was not bitten, so I assume it was the pillow. Pls take necessary measures to clean.」

「I booked this hotel at very short notice while preparing to travel from the northeast of Scotland to visit a seriously ill family member for what was expected to be a final visit. Unfortunately, on the morning of our planned departure for the 8-hour journey, we received the sad news that our family member had passed away, meaning the trip was no longer required. We contacted the hotel immediately to explain the exceptional circumstances and respectfully requested a refund or goodwill...

「The hotel was all we hoped for on a stopover for our Yorkshire road trip. The food was excellent and the hotel was well situated with good parking and ev charging to top us up on our way. We loved the White Company toiletries.」

「We didn’t stay! As the hotel decided to cancel the evening before the Coldplay concert due to weather! What absolute rubbish. So disappointed and would never consider staying there again. Even paid upfront and booked months in advance. If I had have cancelled within 24 hours I would have been charged! We had to book another hotel which cost us above the odds just so we could attend the concert. A very upsetting and stressful experience. 」

「Seule la personne a l’enregistrement était sympa. La nourriture est infâme les hash brown avaient un goût de rance les plats servis le soir sont immonde. La chambre est vieille il y a des grosses traces d’humidité sur les murs et les wc étaient sales. Le lit est la seule chose propre et confortable. Les chambres sont mal isolées et au dessus du pub. On entend la musique du pub dans les chambres. 」
