「Our first time in an olde English castle. It was a real treat. We had a castle feature room with a large and very comfortable bed. The feature was a bathroom in the wardobe ( I kid ye not ) It was very clean and tidy. The floorboards creaked a bit but this is a castle built in 14C so we can excuse that. We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish.
