"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

"Absolutely loved staying at the retreat. Danny and Helen are extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble (even helped to fix my car) ((be careful reversing in and out of drive, can be quite tight)). "The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Fresh towels provided and tea and instant coffee.Shower was in a cubicle in the room itself,so you step out of shower into bedroom, its a very basic ,budget set up.Toilet is separate door. No sitting area only a plastic stool. I was on top floor right next to lift,a little noisy in corridor ,comings and goings and the lift pinging. The room was very warm but as its right on m4 you cannot have windows open as its so very noisy.Heating and cooling is centrally operated so you aren't in control. Truthfully the room was a little run down.Cigarette burns on windowsill, chipped paint and not all lighting was working(complicated switches). Breakfast was cold continental style ,ham cheese croissants ,cereals etc.Was ok. Coffee was nice. Staff all very friendly and helpful, lady on reception said I should have requested a fan.Ill know in future . There was plenty of parking but I had to park quite a distance from door so im glad I didn't have alot of bags. All in all a basic budget hotel in a very noisy motorway.Ok in an emergency but I wouldn't like to stay longer than 1 night."

"Overall this is a resort mainly focused on golf and leisure trips. The facilities are excellent (gym and golf courses) and the service was very good throughout and location is lovely in the countryside conveniently located near the M4. My only criticism is that the buildings themselves are a bit sterile and the bar and restaurant tend to be catering the golf groups etc but overall the hotel is definitely of a good standard and has excellent facilities"

"We liked a lot the fact that the room could be warmed up rapidly, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and that breakfast was nice. Our bathroom was in a rather poor state though, with mold on the wall and floor tiles next to the bathtub, around the shower screen (which had no silicone to keep the water in), but also inside the shower head and tube. The room smelled of damp and the overall impression was of a worn-out property."

"Seems new owners have taken over since we last stayed. Some good changes, some bad. Room we stayed in seemed to have a make over which was good, breakfast disappointed with free toast and cereal but cooked breakfast now charged. The red haired girl that ran the restaurant seems to have gone and she was a real plus at this b and b. But all the best with the venture to the new owners."
