This vacation was relaxing and so much fun!

Our stay at Mount Pleasant Lodge is best described as a beautiful experience. Outside, there is something for everyone. The swingset, the tree swing, the hammocks, the zip line, the swimming in the pool house, the fire pit, and the hiking trails. Inside, Rose thinks of everything! If you forgot it, it’s already there! From the welcoming gifts to the downstairs game room and the beautiful interior, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Rose even thinks of your pets and provides for them. Our age range was from 2 to 67, there was something for everyone!

Elevated Junkies Book Club Fifth Cabin Retreat

We chose this property because it was accommodating to our group size and the ladies really wanted a pool. The property was absolutely amazing! Very picturesque! We did field games, zip lining used the hammock a swings hot tub and fire pit! Made an attempt on the trail but did not get too far. However! This is the property to stay whether it’s a holiday or a family getaway there is so much to do and explore. It’s very accessible and accommodating for all ages. Parking! We had nine SUV’s and plenty of space left for parking! Everyone left with their love tank on full and happy!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Amazing Time at Your Family's Place lodge!

We had the best time at this cabin. Everything is laid out so thoughtfully. Really a beautiful and clean space. The basement game room and the indoor pool area are especially awesome!Communication with Rose (the owner) couldn't have been better - appreciate all of her outreach and quick replies.We will definitely be back!JD

Awesome place!

So much to do at this lodge. It rained all weekend but know one got bored. Pool house was a great hit with the kids. Basement had plenty of games to keep them occupied. The front porch was covered so we could enjoy our morning coffee outside. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Check in was easy and if we had questions Rose was quick to answer . We will definitely go back!!

Cozy Weekend

My family had an amazing restful weekend at the Mt. Pleasant Lodge. The cabin was very spacious and clean, the beds were so cozy and the basement playroom kept the grandkids busy and happy! We enjoyed the pool house, hot tub and gathering around the fire pit at night. I highly recommend staying here!!

Awesome Place ! The Millers

We stayed with our friends ! we had a very great time The place was very clean and beautiful ! We have a Son that is handicap and it did not bother me to have him crawling on the floor . The kids and everybody loved the pool house and game room The cookies she left us didnt last long ! I definitly stay there again

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge, plenty to do and close to several area attractions. Communications with the owners was excellent, the place has everything you need with some extra special touches that were very appreciated. We would stay again.

Perfect place for kids

This was the perfect place to entertain our grandchildren who range in age from one to 10 years old, especially during the colder months of winter/spring. The pool area has everything you need for the little ones, including a water table and wading pool, and the older kids had a great time with all the water toys that were provided for the large pool. We lucked out with the weather and were able to take advantage of the playset and zipline in the yard too, which were a big hit, but if you're limited to the inside, there's plenty to do! There are so many unexpected surprises along the way, like the delicious box of amazing cookies in the kitchen! Can't say enough about Rose and her family hosting this property.

Gorgeous Property with Unbelievable Amenities

The Mt. Pleasant Lodge is an incredible property complete with every amenity imaginable. The pool, hot tub and game room were a huge hit; there was something for everyone. Rose is an incredible hostess and went out of her way to leave balloons and cookies for my mom’s birthday. The s’more kit was incredible. I highly recommend and hope to return again!!

The property is absolutely stunning. Super clean, so much room to spread out, and there’s something for everyone to do!! The pool was our grandchildren’s favorite thing by far!!
