Hotel was centrally located and within walking distance to drum tower, bell tower and Metro station. Room was clean and spacious. The receptionist and all staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful. There is a travel desk at the ground floor and able to make last min tour arrangement. There are a few restaurant along the street in front of the hotel. Only negative point is the room seem a bit dated but the location and staff more than make up for it. Highly recommended hotel for 1st time traveller to Xi'An.

I had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed to feel at eased. The front desk and housekeeping teams were absolutely amazing so kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Even though there was a bit of a language barrier, everyone made such an effort to communicate and ensure I had a pleasant experience. Their warm smiles and genuine hospitality truly made my stay memorable. I really appreciate all their hard work and would happily stay here again!”

It's so interesting to see the Old China and New, side by side at this famous Temple.

The new temple is enormous and very grandiose while the smaller, old temple is the true treasure. It is here that a believed to be relic, a finger of Buddha, resides. It was hidden for years in a secret area below the temple, taken there as a group of priests to hide it from Mongols who raided the area.

It was only found when the old temple leaned so much that the governed stepped in to try and save the crumbling building. When the secret chamber was discovered, the importance of this area was realized and the new temple built beside it.
You will enjoy the gardens and huge Buddhas sculptures throughout the new grounds as well as appreciate the restored grounds of Famen.
