Het was een mooie nette kamer. Ze waren duidelijk nog aan het werken in het hotel. De toiletten van de benedenverdieping waren onder constructie. Ontbijt was ok. Het hotel ligt vlakbij het U-gebouw en de winkelstraat is gewoon de straat oversteken

Impossible to find the parking, and even worse to find the room (stairs and corridors everywhere. When the reseptionist went with us to find the room, it was not ready (at 0030 night). A long discussion was needed to get another room with two single beds. No aircondition and a very hot but nice family room was the end. We'll never visit this hotel again.

Very disappointing experience. We stayed here on June 28, 2026, during a very hot day (around 40°C), and our room was simply not fit to stay in. The room had no air conditioning, only a tiny fan that was completely useless and only blew hot air around. The room was extremely hot, stuffy, and almost impossible to sleep in. We complained immediately after entering the room. The staff offered us another room, but unfortunately it was just as hot and uncomfortable. Neither room provided acceptable conditions for a night’s sleep. On top of that, there was a very strong smell of marijuana throughout the building, including the hallways, which made the stay even more unpleasant. The entire hotel felt hot, poorly ventilated, and uncomfortable. The receptionist was not very helpful and dismissed our concerns by saying that the weather was hot. While we understand that the outside temperature was high, guests still expect a hotel room to provide reasonable comfort and a place where they can actually sleep. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. We paid for a room that was simply not suitable for staying overnight. We cannot recommend this hotel and hope the management takes these issues seriously.

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. There was no aircon and no kettle. My ensuite bathroom had a few problems: the sink was blocked, one shower door was off its rails so hard to open close, and the shower head attachment was loose. The biggest problem was the check in which was incredibly slow, and I think the member of staff could have handled it far better than he did. When I arrived there were three people at the desk who were obviously in the middle of a very long complicated transaction of some kind, and they were obviously on no hurry. It involved phoning people up and asking numerous things of the desk clerk. I was obviously impatient to check in, and I think he should and could have checked me in and then continued dealing with the other people, or he could have called over the other member of staff who was at the bar with no customers to serve. I had already paid and my check in would only take 30 seconds, and the other people were obviously in no hurry. I even asked whether I should come back later, as I find it incredibly frustrating to have to wait ten minutes for something that should be so quick, but for some reason he said no I had to wait. Altogether the check in experience was terrible.

Hade problem med digitala check in och tycker det var onödigt krångligt. Dock fanns det en väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam nattportier som gjorde upplevelsen positiv. Personalen under dagen var också trevlig och hjälpsam. Rekommenderar detta boendet till dem som vill bo centralt och nära Dortmunds HBF.

We stayed one night for Def Leppard concert. The rooms are clean, spacious and nice. But it’s very hot in the rooms. We had two rooms and both were the same. We got a tiny, tiny fan but it didn’t help. If it was not so hot I would have given the hotel four stars instead of three. We knew there was no Ac but this was ridiculously hot in the rooms.

A lot of noice.. you can hear everything that happens in the hallways.. we had zero sleep. The room was very small but clean. Our room was on the grown floor, and you could only reach it by going up 1. Floor and then down some stairs, it was not convinient with suitcases. Not a good experience
