"We booked this bed and breakfast for a weekend marriage conference. Before arriving we were called and told that they had to move our room to the carriage house due to a septic issue with the main manor. The carriage house is a smaller building on the property. Upon arriving it felt a bit run down overall. We entered our room on the second floor of the carriage house. It was small but quaint and what we needed. We had some difficulties with the heat the first night. We woke up freezing so we turned on our in room electric fireplace and then it was overly hot. Unfortunately there was no thermostat or way to control the temp in our room. The towels provided were very small, the shower head in the shower was somewhat broken and kept aiming the water at our feet when showering. The radiators heat made a ton of loud banging sounds at night that woke us up both nights. Most disappointing is that there is no one on staff to greet you, and the freshly made breakfast we thought we would be getting at a bed and breakfast was a self serve bar in the main house with yogurt, prepackaged cakes and bagels, bananas that were not ripe, cereal cups with milk and a fridge with microwaveable breakfast items that were frozen from jimmy deans. It left much to be desired. It sounds like it used to be much better with the previous owners. I would recommend looking into another bed and breakfast in the area even if it is a bit more expensive as you will get a better experience as we paid to go out to"

"The cabin was clean, rustic and quiet. It was exactly what we wanted for a weekend getaway in the mountains. Our host Buffy was very helpful and kept excellent communication. Thank you! "

"The house was a perfect place for us to stay with spacious bedrooms and king beds, and we also enjoyed all that the Skytop resort has to offer. We would gladly come back!"

"Great communication. Super fast response to any emails or messages I left. Minor issue with the hot tub upon arrival but someone was there to fix it within 30 minutes of notifying the host and we were able to use the hot tub without issue. Great space for 8 adults and 7 kids. The kids enjoyed the two car garage which was converted to a game room. Downstairs movie room was a hit, easy to watch movies and kept the kids entertained in the evening while the adults hung out upstairs in the living room and sitting around the HUGE kitchen table (easily seats 12). Back deck was enjoyed by all and we spent most of the midday on the deck enjoying the afternoon sun. Kids enjoyed the 78 enclosed pool and the sauna was a hit after jumping out of the pool and into the 40 weather we had. Overall a good experience. Definitely has AWD if you are going to the house in the snow as it does sit on a dirt road in a quiet neighborhood. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and everything felt cozy from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the wood-burning stove it made the winter atmosphere even more special. Enjoying the sauna and the hot tub while surrounded by snow was truly a highlight. The location is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The kitchen was fully functional with everything we needed. Honestly, the only thing we wished for was more time to enjoy the cabin. Vera was very accommodating, attentive, and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Frog 🐸 Town Inn. My Wife & I only stay one evening and enjoyed a peaceful and quiet nights rest in the most comfortable bed! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and will be back another time to try the dinner at the restaurant Butter. This was especially special to me to be here because my grandfather use to own this inn many years ago when I was a boy. To be inside again and walk the property, the memories just came right back. We Loved the owners Mark and Carol! So very nice and accommodating!!!! We highly recommended staying here and will be back again!!! "
