For those arriving by air, Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB) is approximately 105 km to the north, with a drive time of about 1.5 to 2 hours.
Located on the ground floor, it consists of a living area, kitchenette, double bedroom, two other bedrooms with the possibility of composing double or single beds in each and bathroom; the property is completed by a veranda which leads to a large private courtyard furnished with table and chairs and where children can play in complete freedom and safety. Present TV, washing machine, air conditioning in the living area, oven, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, barbecue and outdoor shower; easy free parking near the house.
Cala Gonone is a prominent tourist village situated in the heart of the Gulf of Orosei, along the eastern coast of Sardinia in the Barbagia region. From Cala Gonone, you can take a boat to reach the famous Cala Luna beach, a precious gem requiring adequate protection, and the Bue Marino cave. This cave, part of the karst system of the Supramonte massif, features a small entrance to the sea and conceals amazing natural treasures, as well as some families of monk seals, remnants of the Mediterranean's distant glacial periods. Cala Gonone also provides easy access to the resorts of the southern part of the Gulf of Orosei, which are set in the characteristic Ogliastra landscape. This area is noted for its unique combination of rugged rocky terrain and the crystal-clear sea, creating a wide array of natural wonders with vertical cliffs over the water and forested slopes inhabited by significant birdlife.
