My husband, sister and two nieces were fortunate to spend 4 nights in this outstanding property. We all hated to leave.
Sally met us upon checkin and communicated promptly during our stay. She's a gem of a host.
The house is tastefully furnished, the beds were wonderful, and the spacious living room gave everyone a comfortable place to congregate. The kitchen had everything we needed and the pantry was well-stocked. While we were doing laundry, the dryer broke. Sally was gracious enough to take our wet clothes home and return them dried and perfectly folded, a kindness we continue to talk about.
There is literally a view from every room. The castle, the Cliffs of Mohr, the cows ... all offered peace and serenity. We were privileged to meet a baby calf born the night before and seeing him wobbling around and watching the attentive mother was truly a highlight.
The walk along the Cliffs path, which is right outside the property, offered stunning morning mist and evening sunsets.
We took the ferry to Inish Mohr, enjoyed a delicious dinner at Ivy Cottage, and heard traditional music at McDermott's.
We would all return in a heartbeat! It's a magical place.
