The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and we loved that we could go to the beach club next door which was a bit more active or stay at our hotel which was quieter. "Visited with my husband and 11 year old son. Was a wonderful spot- easy access to town but we really enjoyed that it was away and secluded. We ate most our meals at the restaurant which was fantastic. Also loved the yoga class. And our son loved playing pool and playing in the waves at the beach. Would definitely recommend :) "

"The cabin was an excellent calming retreat listening to only the sounds of the birds and nature. The steps up to the cabins can be a bit steep (up to 30cm/ 12 inches) but assuming you are there to hike Park Tayrona it's a good warm up for the trails in the park. Breakfast and dinners were excellent and Kevin our front desk person, arranged an early breakfast so we could get to the hikes at break of dawn. Kevin also gave us a map outlining the hike options, distance of each hike and horse back...

When our driver couldn't make it to the Casa to take us to Santa Marta airport for our flight to Bogota, Marisela took us both in our car and drove the hour and 15 minutes to drop us off at the airport. Even though we don't speak much Spanish at all, her entire staff took the effort to communicate with us in English throughout our stay. The location is fantastic and you have the choice of tenting on the beach to common dorm type accomodation to a couple of rooms...
