Excellent experience, food, and atmosphere. The staff at the front desk, bar, and restaurant were incredibly kind. The food was exceptionally good and diverse. It was a wonderful 5-night stay—we felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated every single day. The only negative issues were the poor quality of the laundry service and the damp pool towels

We stayed in the # 8 master suite which is probably the most beautiful space that we've ever stayed in. Over the top architecture, furnishings, private pool, view out over Uvita point. It's almost like we were in a private palace for six days. Amazing staff, fine dining, beautiful gardens in common areas. Tree lecture

Beware of spiders outside and inside your room! There are poisonous snakes in the surrounding area! We came upon a snake driving into the property. After check out, I found a big spider inside a shirt that I hanged in their closet. The hotel staff failed to warn us about this. We are very disappointed about paying so much to have to be too cautious about poisonous snakes, insects and reptiles! It was our Honeymoon get away. We won’t go back!

This property was incredibly beautiful. This hotel is more for couples and my husband and I enjoyed it. The food was amazing. Everyone on the staff went over and beyond to assist you with whatever you need. The atmosphere was great as well. The perfect get away to relax, reflect and restore. My husband and I would like to thank specifically Curtis,Emmanuel, Ivan, Alfonso, Noel and Francisco. Thank you!

Our stay at Kura Boutique Hotel was unforgettable and one of the best hospitality experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and completely relaxed. A huge thank you to Hazel at the front desk, who went above and beyond every day. She warmly greeted us after excursions, coordinated drivers, and even arranged packed breakfasts for our early departures — such a thoughtful touch that reflects the level of care at Kura. Marlon, one of the hotel drivers, also made a lasting impression. Every ride up and down the mountain was enjoyable thanks to his friendly personality and local knowledge. We loved hearing his stories and recommendations about Costa Rica and the surrounding area. William, our waiter and bartender, was equally wonderful. He constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and loved pointing out local birds and wildlife around the property, which made the experience even more special. The hotel itself is stunning. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable, and the ocean view overlooking Whale’s Tail was breathtaking. One of our favorite memories was relaxing in the hammock each morning while listening to toucans in the trees. The meals were outstanding, and the spa was peaceful, spotless, and deeply relaxing. Kura is more than just a beautiful luxury hotel — it’s the people who make it unforgettable. We left feeling cared for, refreshed, and already wanting to return.

Kura is a beautiful hotel! I went for a solo trip and it was amazing but I do feel like this stay is for couples. Only because the facility only has a pool for an activity. The hotel does have excursions which include transportation for $25 there and back. Heading to the hotel there is a very steep hill that you must pay to come up and down from so I do recommend driving unless you plan on staying at the hotel most of the time. The food was also a little pricey and not much of a selection. There are about 5 different entrees that do not change day to day. Overall my stay was beautiful peaceful and quiet but very disclosed from a lot of things so I recommend having someone even if you do like solo trips

Ok so I literally never leave hotel reviews but that changed after staying at Kura! First, I must inform you that it’s a trek to get there driving wise (have them come pick you up) but once you get there OMG! The ambiance is insane and they undoubtedly have the best view in Uvita! Hands down! It doesn’t even matter which room you get. If you are lucky enough to get the room with the shower with the view of the ocean I promise you, you won’t want to leave! We didn’t either! The food was amazing! And the service was A1! This resort is the definition of a 5 star resort! I would highly recommend! The pool was amazing and the red lights in the room really set the mood! Overall me and my fiance agreed that this was the best resort we’ve ever stayed at and we’ve been to other 5 star resorts in the Almafi coast as well! You won’t be disappointed!

I can not say enough great things about Kura! Sindy, Sergio, Jay, Lalu, and the others were so amazing! They made sure our every need was taken care of. They anticipated any thing we might need and were beyond friendly. We had the infinity pool villa and oh my gosh it was beyond breathtaking! The view was amazing and we woke up every day to toucans playing in the trees right outside our room. The Kura stuff went out of their way to make our stay amazing! They drove us to any excursions we wanted to take and the drinks were amazing every time we arrived. The food is impeccable and you will not be disappointed. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and they made me room so romantic with fresh fruit and a custom dinner menu.
