"We enjo.yed our stay. The cottage was in a tranqil area, but only a short drive from Porthmadog. It had every thing that we needed in a home away from home. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and clean. The beds were very comfortable, although bedrooms were small. The lounge area is looking a little tired, the sofa and rug especially need updating. There was a lot of cobwebs throuhout with wispy spiders (which I hoovered away) . "An amazing property in an idyllic location, peaceful and quiet. Super close to so many outdoor activities we were spoilt for choice. We were a party of 7 adults and the property felt spacious with a well stocked kitchen, outdoor eating area and large living room. Communication was great, clear friendly and incredibly helpful. We would highly recommend this accommodation. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Wales!"

"Amazing staff and the dinner was amazing too"

"We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."

"The room was clean and staff all very pleasant. The breakfast selection was poor for fresh fruit and only had tinned pears available. The hot food to order was lukewarm which was a shame. The car park was very wet and puddly in heavy rain. It would be nice to supply an umbrella for walking from reception/dining room/bar if you are staying in one of the outside chalet rooms."

"We enjoyed our stay at this attractive historic hotel. Close to the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed and about 20 minutes from the zip wire attraction with lots of options for walkers and hikers. We thought it was a little overpriced; our room was fine though not very large and the view from the small window was of a wall. All meals are served in the pub and a range of pub type meals was available. The hot breakfasts were good but the continental options were limited. Lots of parking and plenty of covered tables outside for fine days."

"We had an apartment separate to the main hotel, absolutely fine for what we wanted. Added bonus was that they had 3 EV chargers in the car park 2 of which werent working the first night, but after reporting this they were all working for the rest of our stay. Only downside was the car park was not very big, one night we had to park outside in the road as there were quite a few MG sports cars (3 of which were parked in the EV charging bays annoyingly)"

"The property is mixed bunkhouse and other room types. We booked the suite which was very roomy and comfortable. The vibe is very relaxed with a bit of a backpacker feeling. There is a friendly bar and the breakfast was a combo of self serve and custom breakfast. Staff were super friendly and accompanied. It is close to lots of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would go back."
