Retreat on the Salmon River



The Space:

Enjoy stunning views of the Salmon River from your own backyard with the whole family, including the family dog! Enjoy your morning coffee on the furnished patio off of the living room, then head out to explore the local terrain. When you return, you have a full, well-equipped kitchen to cook dinner, a dining table with seating for six, and a plush couch with a warm, wood-burning fireplace to hug you in comfort while you take in a movie or TV show.

Being close to Mount Hood, there is no shortage of fun things to do. In the summer, find hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, golfing, backpacking, and camping. During the winter months, you can expect to find skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, tubing, and more! You will also find local attractions, shops, and plenty of restaurants to satisfy everyone in the family

Didn't interact with a host, the property is managed by Vacasa and I was concerned about that. But the house exceeded expectations. Kitchen was well-stocked. Beds were comfy. View of the river was amazing. Only two minor issues: we couldn't open the outdoor trash can and the master bedroom was chilly, would recommend a space heater.

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our time. The home was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the river. It was peaceful and relaxing. This place is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. Excellent place to get away from everyday life. Great choice if you have dogs. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, and seamless check in/out. We loved it here and would definitely stay here again!!!

Amazing, comfortable home on the river

The location is perfect, secluded enough for privacy yet close enough to civilization. The river sounded wonderful outside the patio doors, and the enclosed backyard let our dog explore in a controlled area. The huge jet tub was also great. Love this place!
