Probably a good hotel by standards of other hotels around it, but could be better and certainly not a 5-star hotel as advertised. Have to say that the staff are very helpful and courteous and will go out of their way to assist.

Overall the hotel is fine. The room is actually clean and comfortable, but some things are lacking. My room had one large towel...total. No hand towels, no washcloths. Additionally, there's no "Do Not Disturb" sign available...so you have to track someone down to ask them not to clean the room. On my last day I got back from the gym at 930 and someone was cleaning the room. Why clean my room BEFORE I check out? It was an inconvenience as she had the room torn apart and I needed to shower and organize to leave. The gym...isn't a gym...don't plan to get any workout there.

Clean, comfortable mid range hotel let down by unprofessional, unwelcoming reception staff. Liked: Comfortable, clean rooms. Decent breakfast. Restaurant staff are professional and helpful. Disliked ย ยทย Horrible, unfriendly reception staff. Barely acknowledge your existence, even when you are standing right in front of them. I had to say helllo/ jambo 3 times before I got a response and still no smile or greeting back. Provided non of the expected information e.g about wi-fi, time of breakfast. Practically threw the room key at me. Same poor attitude when we were waiting to check out. She sat having a chat with her friend who just looked me up and down. Finally decided to serve me and was rude as anything saying โ€˜ yes you paid , itโ€™s doneโ€™. No Asante sana. Just went back to chatting to her friend. I know this is only a mid range hotel but good customer service and a good attitude is priceless. Some staff training is required.
