"We stayed in a Double room (Point of View) at Düsternbrook and very much enjoyed the tranquility and the incredible view at the pool and our room & deck. The staff are all kind, helpful and happy to answer all questions. Whilst driving to the lodge we already spotted heaps of animals like giraffes, warthogs, all kind of birds, baboons, Kudus, springboks etc., so driving slowly pays off. "Stayed at the hotel for six nights whilst working in the city. Got to know the staff very well. They're very friendly and provide a great service. The hotel may not have the infrastructure of a four star hotel but the service is definitely there. Rates are also in little high for the country but affordable. It would be nice if they provided more TV channels and upgraded some of the decor."
