It was a beautiful environment! The mountains and the stream and the waterfall. Beautiful. A cosy little cabin with two bedrooms. We could cosy up on the couch as well and watch a movie.

We loved our stay at the Bragdavellir Cottages. We had dinner at the Bragdavellir Barn Restaurant. The food and the service were excellent. The view from the cottage was spectacular. The late checkout was very helpful as we slept in after a tiring day. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Iceland.

A good cottage to stay in the middle of nowhere. The cottage is clean and comfortable. Quite roomy for our family of 4. And the living room is kind of nice; private kitchen and bath is another good things. We arrived in a rainy days. This cottage gave us the comfort feeling and restful night.

We only stayed one night and arrived late at night. Check in was easy and key left for us. Location was easy to find. Safe and great views. Only thing I could think of was some areas could use updated, for example blinds and shower heads (slow leak). We would stay here again!

Excellent Location! Really beautiful. There is a waterfall at the back of property and is really nice. We really enjoyed the barn where the food was. Had a chance to meet and hang out with owner and very entertaining stay. Would stay there again. No reception but don't need it in a beautiful place like this in middle of nowhere.

We love the cabañas

Perfect stay for our road trip. Good location. Very clean and comfortable. We love the place. The kitchen have everything to cook. Have stove and microwave. They have parking in front of the cabañas. The view is amazing. Every bed have blankets. Peaceful location. Have a very nice dining table for 4.

Great views and location - waterfall is about a 20 min walk from the cottages. Cottage is well-appointed with everything you may need. We had an issue during our stay and reached out to management who was very quick to respond and work toward resolving our issue. Despite the issue we had, we would book there again

Liked the kitchen and the two bedrooms. There was a trail to the waterfall in the back that was nice. The shower and the sink in the bathroom drained very slowly.

The location is outstanding with easy access to waterfalls, spectacular looking falls. We stayed in one day due to heavy rain and cold winds, but the views from the windows & porch were still amazing. Well built and insulated cottage. We were warm and dry, and the wind and rain were not loud, so the roof was well designed & insulated despite being metal on top. All amenities required, though kitchen pots & pans are old. Communicated with staff via email and replies were almost immediate. Ana, Stefan & Olena were great hosts who answered all my questions about the area.

Like sleeping on a box of springs on each bed. The fridge was turned off when we arrived so we couldn’t keep our food cold for hours. The heat wasn’t working and we were cold all night. Mild growing on the edges of the cabins. Lovely view and easy access, however improvements need to be made to keep charging this price.

We stayed in cabin 5, Gustur this past April and found multiple bed bugs in our room. Fortunately the staff gave us a refund, but the build of the cottage is not as nice as we expected. You can see the bare ground and dirt underneath openings in the wooden floor. As well as many of the wall linings were peeled off, revealing the inside of the build, which looked like a perfect place for insects and other critters to get warm during winter. Beautiful surroundings.

Great overnight stay on our Ring Road road trip. Convenient to have a restaurant onsite. Beautiful setting and easily accessible hiking trails walking distance. Spacious cottage with plenty of room and amenities our family of four. Had everything we needed!

The valley the cabins are located in is beautiful! Check in/out was super easy. Cabin was relatively clean. There was clearly some water damage in a few areas but overall a nice stop over stay.
