"I was staying here on my way to Chicago. I travel for work and have for many years. I’m very genuinely low expectation bc I have my own routine. I wasn’t expecting the four seasons. I knew what I was signing up for. However, when I called the same day as check in and asked the manager on duty if I could please just stay for a second night I was told oh yes that’s totally fine no problem. The next day I work up early and then took a nap bc I was feeling very sick. Over the course of 2 hours the housekeeping literally repeatedly banged on my door. I had to tell them twice I was staying a second night - I had to yell through the door please leave me alone I am not feeling well. At this point I was really disgusted. This was officially the worst stay of my entire life and that’s saying a LOT. I will never return to another IHG property and I’ll be telling my colleagues not to do so either. "

"We only stayed 1 night (arriving late and leaving early) but really enjoyed our stay. The room was stately but comfortable. The mansion is in very good condition. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was extremely engaging. A great B&B."
