Bathroom - Shower head clamp broken; jacuzzi bath difficult to get in, a walk in shower would be more practical.
Breakfast - Inbalance between 6€ small breakfast and 10€ big breakfast in term of choice and value for money. Didn't like that both guests in a room had to choose same size breakfast.
Tea/coffee making facilities in room would be nice."

"Good staff. Warm welcome. Old by-passed hotel typical of Spain. Just managing. Low room rate manages your expectations. Food was good. Warm atmosphere of locals. Only negative was the locked fire exit to the main bar. A push bar MUST be fitted. "

"We just spent three nights at Hotel La Colina in Gijon, Spain. I have to say it’s been the highlight of our European trip. The location is secluded outside of town, but you can get into town in 10 minutes. We ate breakfast in the cafeteria every morning and the food and service were wonderful. The rooms were great, the views are fantastic, along with the hiking paths and best of all the staff were some of the friendliest people we’ve met on our trip. Highly recommended, and we will be back."

"This property is overpriced. For over $200 a night, I would expect a room that does not smell of urine and for my mini fridge to work. I called the front desk several times asking for the mini fridge to be repaired to no avail. Some of the staff (the waiter at the Bar) were very pleasant and others (woman at the front desk when I checked in) were not pleasant. "We were 4 friends on a motorcycle trip through the Picos. This place looked amazing in the photos so we booked it.
It was amazing when we got there. Situated in a quiet town overlooking the mountains, the place was beautifully kept, the staff were great, the food was very good, and the fact that our command of Spanish was very poor didn't stop us from having a great overnight stay.
We didn't use the spa so can't comment other than it looked very nice."
