You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Chautauqua country home. Boat, snowmobile, fishing, wineries, family get away.

Located in the country, 5 minutes from Chautauqua Lake and 20 minutes from the world-famous Chautauqua Institution. About 7 minutes from Bemus Point where you can find restaurants, shopping, watersport rentals and a boat launch. 5 minutes from Midway Amusement Park, Long Point State Park which has a boat launch, Dollar General. 10 minutes from Mayville where you'll find another public boat launch, park, Tops, a hardware and several churches. We are also 10 minutes from Westfield where you can easily hop onto the Wine Trail. Just a short 20 minutes away you will find the Lucy Desi Museum and The National Comedy Center. You can also jump onto a main snowmobile trail from our backyard.

We have a large yard to bring your outdoor lawn games. There's a firepit in the backyard to enjoy and make some s'mores at. A small front porch is perfect to watch our stunning sunsets. And a back deck has a grill, a picnic table and chairs to relax at.

The kitchen has a large butcher block island/bar to sit at or prepare your food. Kitchen is fully equipped. We have a FlexBrew to make your coffee or hot specialty beverages. It is K-cup compatible. There is a stackable washer and dryer to use if needed off the kitchen where you'll also find the half bathroom.

All three bedrooms feature ceiling fans. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a private shower. The second bathroom has a shower/tub combo and a flip down second toilet site to accommodate the little ones.

We have a driveway that can handle your boats and trailers. At the end of the house, we have an outside outlet to plug in your boat equipment if needed. And another one in the green shed.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE. This home sleeps 8. Booking is for 2 guests. Additional guests are $15 per person per night after that.

Well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional charge. There is no way when you book to charge for additional pets after the first one. TAKE NOTE PLEASE. WE WILL SEND YOU VIA VRBO REQUESTING THE PET FEE FOR ADDITIONAL PETS PAST THAT 1ST ONE. IT IS $10 PER PET PER NIGHT. We do not want any confusion about the pet fee. We are sorry but VRBO makes it only available in the booking when you book to charge for the 1 pet. This is why we have to do it that way. We do expect the owners to clean up after their pets. If we do have to clean up after any pet, we charge an additional cleaning fee. We have an outdoor fenced in area for pets. DO NOT leave your pets unattended please! We do not want anything to happen to them and will not be held responsible.

Great location. Quite country road - 12 cars passed in 3 hours: we counted as enjoyed coffee on the front deck. There’s also a great back deck and fire ring. Bemus Point and Guppies both 10 min away.

Spring Fishing Trip

The house was perfect for our fishing trip to Lake Chataqua. The property provided space to park the boat and the outside electric made it easy to charge the battery. The home itself was immaculate and the owners provide everything needed. The washer and dryer was a huge bonus after a rainy day on the water! Wonderful!

And Aimee is a great host. House is clean and cozy. It is a very quiet location. Plenty of parking four boats and Aimee had power ready for us to plug the boats in to recharge. Lots of room for the 6 of us when we returned from the lake for the evening. Highly recommend this house to anyone staying near the lake

Perfect Place To Stay

We found this little house to be exactly what Steve and Aimee said it would be: a clean, bright, comfortable home-away-from-home with ample space for our party of four adults. It was well-stocked with everything we could possibly have needed. It was easy to find, and located midway between everything we wanted to see and do in Chautauqua. Amazing house

We traveled with our teen daughter and let her 2 friends come so there was plenty of room for all 5 of us- the house was easy to find and we loved it the set up was amazing and unbelievably clean it was just perfect we’ve already started seeywhen we can go back - we travel to that area quite often but this house was definitely amazing and the contact with the host was superb - we will definitely be back

Wonderful Chautauqua County Getaway

We absolutely loved Aimee and Steve’s rental property. Rural and rustic, peaceful and quiet, it is a wonderful place to get away from the noise of the big city. If we had any questions or concerns (such as being awaken one morning to loud knocking sounds outside the house that turned out to be woodpeckers), Aimee replied quickly. With great hosts and a great property, you can’t go wrong. Highly recommended!

Christmas in the country.

The house was perfect for family Christmas away from home. Our hosts provided the sweetest little tree, decorations outside and enough snow to build three snowmen. The house is certainly pet friendly with plenty of room to run. We did walk around the property Christmas day. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be in the summer and fall. Our hosts were so very kind and accommodating.

Excellent Eclipse Experience

Property is spacious and as advertised, quiet country setting and layout is all one level. Our group was 5 adults, 2 small dogs and we never felt cramped. Two full baths, 1 half bath accommodated all of us well. Home has a front and a back deck so we had the option of viewing the 2024 total solar eclipse from either! And OH! what a spectacular experience it was!
