Good: it was close to our great wedding venue, Coriander Farm and Kitchen. Most of the time the host replied to me promptly (although unsatisfactorily, see below) via messaging. The neighborhood was quiet.
Bad: This house is very downmarket. There were exposed wires hanging from where a front door doorbell should have been, and construction materials - sharp and heavy tiles and a ladder - piled in the dining room when we arrived. The upstairs bathroom had no stopper for the tub and the sink stopper didn't work. Badly laid LVT flooring downstairs. The outside windows were very dirty. The carpets on the stairs and upstairs landing are old. The supplied dishes were plastic. No stopper for the kitchen sink. No basics like a roll of paper towels. No bathroom rug in the downstairs half bath. These things may not seem serious but we came with little kids and we had to improvise a tub stopper, etc. Stovetop needed cleaning. There were only 4 towels. One bed quite creaky. Not sure the blankets were clean. Sofas old and floppy with dubious covers. Finally - despite repeated requests the host would not cancel the last night of our stay even though I asked on several occasions in advance of the cut-off date. I would not recommend this property.
