"This was the perfect place to stay to enjoy 'sigh, blue sky and bye-bye' after the busy holidays! So peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, joyful; just delightful!! It has everything you need to relax in the winter, gas fireplace, cozy living room, fully-stocked kitchen, restful beds, spacious bathrooms and fantastic view! Snowshoeing at Awassa, Fern Ridge and Shannon Lake was outstanding & oh so pleasant. Then back to our retreat to put together jigsaw puzzles in our flannels while listening to jazz & sipping on a glass of wine. Utopia! We ate our meals in with food brought from home, but did go out once to Whitetail Inn, which was also very cozy & rewarding. And Nic was always on-the-spot with answers to any questions we had. I don't think we could have asked for anything more! If you're looking for a tranquil place for a winter getaway, this is the place! We're coming back next January too!! "

"We enjoyed everything about the cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and a lakeside view of Big St.Germain. The host was great to communicate with and checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were finding everything to our liking. Our trip was snowmobile focused and you couldn't ask for a more central location to stay. Trails to all points in all directions were right out the back door. We will definitely remember this cabin for future trips. 5 stars"
