「I stayed at this hotel in order to look for an accommodation during my study at a uni. The room was clean and comfortable although it did not have AC. I sometimes felt somewhat hot, but thanks to the ceiling fan, it was not a big problem to me. I wish it were my permanent home. If I need to stay at a hotel in Canberra again, I will certainly choose Ovolo Nishi again. The staff members were friendly. 」

Early and late, children running and screaming overhead and outside can be heard. While it was no great bother, it reminded me of home; guests should be forewarned.」

The apartment which is below the house is private (although the above floor ‘creaks’ at times with movement upstairs!). 「Our stay in this unique art house was good. We loved what the owner is trying to do with the decor. It is unusual and quirky but the beds were comfortable and as we were at the folk festival that was important.The shower was tricky as a lot of water ended up on the floor through the shower curtain and the fact that the shower floor is higher than the surrounding floor! Terrifying for the elders in our group! 」

「We were actually out and about a lot, so we were really only here to sleep, but it was a really cute space. It was very secluded and surrounded by nature. We stayed during late fall, so it got a bit chilly at night, and I wish I had packed an extra layer. The throw blanket on the couch and the heated blankets on the bed were very much appreciated!」
