"Well run small hotel. The room was large, adequately equipped and the AC was fine. Dinner and breakfast in the cafe/restauarnt was very good - maybe the best ‘Sri Lanka Curry and rice’ I had during my touring holiday. The villa is truly luxurious, beautifully furnished, and designed to take full advantage of the stunning panoramic views that surround it. The heated pool overlooking the lush green hills was an absolute highlight, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing evening swim even when the air cooled down. What really made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding team. Nishanthan and Rinoshkanth went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at every moment. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and warmth made the experience feel incredibly personal — from arranging our excursions to ensuring that even our smallest preferences were remembered. They made us feel at home while delivering 5-star service throughout our stay. The kitchen team — Chef Susantha, Chef Raja, and Kolith — deserve special mention. Every meal was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, whether we opted for Sri Lankan specialties or Western dishes. We originally booked our stay with breakfast included, but were pleasantly surprised to find a full à la carte menu available daily from 7am to 10pm, with the staff ready to serve lunch and dinner as well. "They had no record of our reaction (that we had paid confirmation through hotels.com. They charged us cash to get a room. (Options in the area and time we arrived extremely limited). Had to try and negotiate an 11 check out at 9 suggested he wanted us out by 10 (place had no other guests). Very noisey all night"
