「Some of the trim in general areas is a bit dated. For example carpet in the hallway, or paneling in the lobby. The room was updated and comfortable. The front desk was prompt and courteous at check in and check out. The room was cleaned and refreshed without any concerns on the one day I didn’t hang the do not disturb. 「Linens that were provided were dirty. Had to ask for towels initially. Toilet seat was broke. No hot water. Very dirty rooms. Outside looked nice. Stairwells had people congregating in them. It seemed people were living there. Requested refund so we could go to another hotel and they granted it even though we had reserved through Expedia on non refundable reservation. Just chatted with Expedia who confirmed with them they were in agreement. Went next door and paid more for clean rooms....

「The pool and so called spa were “out of order”, the breakfast was the worse layout I have seen for a Choice branded hotel and did not even look edible. Ceilings in the halls are low with tiles sagging all over, shower had a broken towel bar in it that, who knows for how long, has let water in behind the fiberglass shower stall. All I could think about is how much mold is inside these walls. Definitely expected more for $140 dollars for a night on a week day. Will be passing on this location in...

「The pictures are misleading. The property is maintained and functions, but it’s outdated, poor layout, and uninviting. It took me a minute to figure out how to find staff and check in. The check in desk is in the diner, and those staff seem focused only on checking you in. There is no hotel staff available in the hotel itself. The hotel feels like a dark hallway with attached rooms. They also gave me a room with one bed even though my reservation was for a room with two beds. Other than that...

「Responsive and pleasant staff. The check-in room smelled mildewy/musty. There was a strong fragrance smell in the room. For those who are sensitive to fragrances, this is always a challenge! (Was it covering up mildew or must?) Ours was a corner room under the 2nd floor - dark. All that said, the beds were excellent - firm. Quiet location as well.」
