Vacation Rentals in Palm Beach County

"I recently stayed at Studio 6 Extended Stay and had a very disappointing experience. The property is extremely worn down and not clean. My room was dirty upon arrival, with unclean cabinets and even a roach in the bathroom. Several advertised amenities were missing or didn’t work; no coffee maker or toaster, and the microwave was broken and never fixed, forcing me to buy my own for my 5-night stay. There was also no silverware or plates, which is unusual for an extended stay. The main ceiling light was also not functional. The shower was poorly designed, with the curtain cutting the space in half, and the water pressure was very weak. The bed was also uncomfortable. Basic operations were frustrating; my room key stopped working every night, so I had to go to the front desk daily to reprogram it. To get fresh towels, you have to bring your dirty ones to the lobby instead of having them delivered. The lobby consistently smelled like marijuana, and the parking lot had broken-down cars sitting long-term. There were also late-night disturbances with people arguing, fighting and slamming doors. Overall, this property needs major improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and management. I would not stay here again."

"We stayed there prior to this stay and we had a room with two double beds and it was much cleaner and nicer and roomier. This time we stayed in a room with one king bed and it was musty and not as nice as our prior room. The worst part of the stay is their Starbucks coffee bar the server who operates it has horrible customer service. She arrives right at 7 o’clock a.m when it’s suppose to be open ready to serve. I would’ve had more patience with her if she greeted me with a smile and said “just give me a few minutes to get everything together”, but she is a very sour person."

"The property was packed, took 30 mins to get coffee. The property needs to figure out the pool seat situation as people held seats never showed up. Kids everywhere running crazy parents not watching. Crazy!!! Especially when you pay ridiculous prices for rooms food etc… "

"Per the Hotels.com information, there was a complimentary continental breakfast. You had to produce a coupon to get breakfast. When I inquired, they front desk said my reservation did not include breakfast. Another annoyance was a barking dog that a guest ignored. My final complaint is it is a suite hotel, but the room with the couch did not have a TV. So, to watch TV, you had to go into the bedroom and sit on the bed. "

"Our stay at Opal had some positives, but the check-in experience and overall communication were disappointing and set the tone for the visit. At arrival, there was confusion around our reservation and very little proactive communication from the staff. We weren’t clearly informed about what was happening, what the delay was, or what to expect next. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt like we had to keep asking questions just to understand basic details. Throughout the stay, this lack of communication continued in smaller ways—information wasn’t clearly shared, and we often had to follow up ourselves rather than staff anticipating needs or keeping us informed. To their credit, the hotel did offer some compensation (drink vouchers and breakfast), which was appreciated. However, those gestures didn’t fully make up for the initial experience and ongoing communication gaps. For a property at this level, I would expect a much more organized and proactive approach—especially at check-in, which is the first impression. With better communication and clearer coordination, this could easily be a much stronger guest experience."
